Christmas Festivities

This year I basically did about 6 events less then normal due to my pregnancy being on super watch. Honestly is was such a change! But we did manage to make some great memories!

Ward Christmas Breakfast - We enjoyed a craft and some pancakes and a fun nativity reading!

Scarlett Winter Performance - Scarlett's dance class preformed to...I don't remember the name, but it was cute! LOL After the class had cookies and juice.

Michelle's Winter Performance - Michelle's class danced to "Where Are You Christmas?" by Faith Hill. It was so sweet, and full of intense drama! LOL After her class enjoyed refreshments as well.

The Nutcracker Ballet - My Mom bought the girls tickets to the show a few months before and surprised Scarlett on her birthday. We nailed front row/center seats, which was sweeeeet! The girls loved getting dressed up and going to the city! Michelle kept gasping every few feet driving downtown! She is so my daughter. I didn't know what to expect with a 6 year old and a 4 year old who has a tenancy to loose interest fast. To my surprise they were so involved! Michelle was even more inspired to practice dance! She also loved the orchestra that was also in our view.  Scarlett was so cute, she would say things out loud, like "Where's Uncle Drosselmeyer?" "Uh oh! Her brother is mad!" "Oh! I love this song!" LOL She wasn't too loud so it was actually pretty funny.  Her favorite was the mice and the Mouse King. Big shocker! Hahaha! I loved the music and the new sets and costumes! It was such a great night! We hope to make it a tradition!

So that was it though! Like I said, super laid back compared to previous years, I can't wait to go back to our norm next year. But we did enjoy lots of holiday tv specials and tons of hot chocolate! So that's always a plus!
