We celebrated Scarlett turning 3 at Build A Bear workshop this year! The store did a great job with the kids. Scarlett made a Hello Kitty which is a character the girls love! Michelle made a Gingerbread Hello Kitty. The kids probably were entertained by the bath tub most. After building their bears the kids headed up stairs to the food court for some cake and presents! This year I finally got to use my Build a Bear cake pan! I heard a million horror stories online about decorating the thing. But luckily I combined all the tips and it ended up being probably one of the best cakes I ever made! Scarlett felt very special being sang to and loved blowing out those candles! The table was decked out in Hello Kitty table wear and a bunch of balloons at her seat. She got some great gifts and enjoyed the company!
On her actual birthday we celebrated at my parents house with more cake and presents! She now constantly brings up her birthday party! That tells me it was special and really stuck with her!
