Christmas Day

We got up around 6 and the girls were beyond excited! They found their stockings filled and a gift from Santa. He brought them Bitty Babies with a crib! The instantly got into little mommy mode. The girls helped pass out gifts this year. It was the cutest thing seeing Scarlett army crawl under the tree to get to more presents. We spent the next hour opening gifts and enjoying each others company. I made a breakfast casserole that spent the night cooking in a crock pot (thank you Pinterest). The rest of the day was more time spending together and taking it easy. My sisters and I got bikes so we went out for a ride. The biggest thing was talking to both of my brothers who are currently serving their missions. It was great to talk to them for a good while. I told my family later it was great to just sit around as a family and just talk. It's not something we do too often so it made Christmas even better. That night everyone pitched in and helped me make my famous meatball subs! We ended the evening at the movies to catch Les Miserables which is now one of my favorite films of all time! Christmas 2012 was a great one!!!
