The day before Chrismas Eve we had the Christmas service at church. We wore our holiday attire which is always fun. I can say that the meeting was so peaceful and happy. The songs, talk and performances really invited the spirit. The girls must've felt it too because they were so well behaved! During Sunday school, Ben was walking over to meet me when he passed the nursery just as the kids were all dressed up and acting out the nativity. Scarlett was a Shepard! Cutest thing ever!
For Christmas Eve, the girls and I started off baking gingerbread men. They did most of the work! I basically had oven duty! We played Christmas themed games, and watched a couple movies. It was very relaxing. That night the girls put on a Christmas concert! Next, we opened our pjs, listened to my Dad read The Night Before Christmas, set out Santa's cookies and milk, and said our farewells to our elf.
It was a nice day full of family time!
