My Birthday!

After a couple years of a major social funk, I decided to actually celebrate with friends this year like I used to. Since my birthday fell on a Sunday I went out the Wednesday before to Chuy's with a few of my girlfriends, my Mom and sisters. It was nice being able to really chat and enjoy some good food.

That Friday I got really sick, technically it was allergies, but as soon as it hits my tonsils I'm a goner. So I speant a couple days in bed. No fun. On my birthday I was still very lethargic so Ben gave me the gift of rest. Later in the day Michelle was so excited for me to go to my "party" she had been planning the past couple weeks. So I put some make-up on in bed and slipped into a dress and went to my parents. Unfortunately most of the pics I'm sitting around and look pale as a ghost BUT my girls were so excited it made it worth it!
The girls bought me some gorgeous hoop earrings and my Mom bought me my annual Gone with the Wind ornament from Hallmark. When I got home I got back in my pjs and Ben suprised me with tickets to the Enrique/JLO concert! I'm super excited for this its not even funny!

Despite being sick, this birthday was actually pretty perfect. Those days of not feeling well forced me to get rest that my body needed. I got to relax with my girls who's love for me is constant reassurance that I'm doing the right thing!
