We did lots of fun activities this Easter season!
March 27

First we paid a visit to our pal the Easter Bunny at the Domain. Michelle loves that this one is in a house. I had a coupon for buy one photo package (which I always do) then get one free! So I was able to send some pics to my brothers. Michelle told EB that she wanted peeps in her basket. Scarlett kept cuddling with him, putting her head on his shoulder! LOL

That morning we hit up the Cat Hollow park's Easter Egg hunt! We got there a little early so the girls got to play on the bouncy slide for a bit. We met my friend Heather and her mom there with the girls bffs Addi and Hannah! The youngest girls got to hunt for eggs first, while the older two went on a train ride. Scarlett grabbed quite a bit and really got into it! Michelle and Addi went with the next group. Michelle wasn't as aggressive and really wanted only pink eggs, this led to a tragic end of only getting one egg. Addi donated one, and we bumped into one more. LOL But they traded eggs from prizes anyway, so it worked out. All the girls sat down and looked at all their goodies. It was a really good time!

The girls went to Build A Bear and made Easter themed animals. This was a gift from my Mom. It was Scarlett's first time making one, and she caught on fast and became a little pro. She did all the steps just right! Uh oh! Another addict is born! Michelle made a purple Hello Kitty (now its a major collection) named her Lily. And Scarlett has "Ducky" who we think looks a lot like her! LOL

We hosted a Easter party this year! We held it in my parents backyard. We had lots of homemade sweets (plus some carrots, that I just thought looked amazing otherwise, nothing healthy LOL) The kids played and munched on goodies. Then we dyed some easter eggs! After another round of snacks and playing, we decorated the dried eggs with markers and stickers. Our guests included, Addison and Hannah Jim, Abbi Himmer, Phenix, Zion and Exodus Morgan, and Max Sutack. The weather was so nice, and the kids had a great time hanging out! The only set back was Michelle getting stung by a caterpillar, thats right! Stung. If you're like me you had no idea this happens. Well it does. She felt it crawling on her then saw what it was, then felt the pain. Tara luckily saved her and even took a sting herself. I found a quick tip on how to treat it, and it went away almost instantly after following a few steps. Didn't help that caterpillars have been her worse fear, and I always told her they don't hurt. Awesome! Not! Anyway, back to Easter...
April 7
This morning the girls and I headed to another egg hunt in Hutto. The weather was gorgeous yet again, and the girls were super pumped and ready for this hunt! I decided to cheat and let Michelle go in the 0-3 group even though she's 4. But honestly, I wasn't going to leave her in a crowd while I went with Scarlett. Besides as you read in the last hunt, Michelle is not a threat anyway! LOL She had more spunk this time around and got a good amount as did Scarlett. We sat in the shade and went through the loot. Then they played on the playground a bit. We also got to see the Easter Bunny and the "Easter Hippo" (Hutto's mascot) They would laugh every time they heard that, and Michelle would say "Easter...HIPPO?" LOL
We had a very fun time the past couple weeks doing all these events! I'm so grateful for my kids, who make every moment 10x more fun!
