Yee-Haw!!

A couple weekends ago our family along with my Mom and sister, Sarita went to the Rodeo! First timers include Ben and the girls! The weather was pretty nice, and the drive not so bad. The bonus? Since we went on the final day our tickets were half price! We started out the day in the Kid area.

The girls had pony rides, and visited two petting pins. Then their was a play farm they spent some time in. After that we went to grab some food. Us adults are huge fans of fair food! Michelle however kept requesting a corn dog without "cake". I actually found a huge "hot dog on a stick" that became her lunch and she felt it was the greatest treat ever! LOL
We ended the day in the carnival section. Michelle was beyond excited about the rides! We made a couple stops at some booths where she picked out a couple girly items - hair bows, tutus, etc. They were all marked down big time since it was the last day.

She got to experience her first fairs wheel ride. I was in panic, but kept my cool. Ben and Sarita were also with us, so it was good balance. LOL She loved it though! Then I took Michelle on kids roller coaster that looked like a caterpillar. It went around a ton of times and had one "fast part" with a small but affective dip. I didn't know what to expect with Shelly, but she was obsessed! She kept giving the man a high five as we past, and then would squeal and laugh non stop during the whole ride. Pure bliss! Worth the buck I guess. While we did that, my sister took Scarlett on the carousal!

It was a great spring day with the family! We'll probably go again next year!
