First time camping with Ben! Something we always said we wanted to do and always put it off. We were invited along with a nice group of other couples by our friends the Robinsons! We arrived early evening to the campsite at Krause Springs and the weather was beyond beautiful! It took a couple tries, but Ben and I managed to get our tent up! We borrowed some gear from my Dad that included two cots and sleeping bags! LEGIT! The campfire was seriously gorgeous and smelled AMAZ! Everyone brought their own versions of camp food, Ben and I went with the sausage route (Diva moment - I brought Salt Lick sauce) We made some rounds talking to a few of the couples and had some great conversations! For desert, smores of course! True happiness there! We got to stay up late, to about 1 am and played a couple games and shared some more laughs. Falling asleep had me worried since I'm almost certain I attract snakes and spiders (its never happened, I just always feel its going to at any point! LOL) But I got over it and actually had some good rest! (Flashlight in hand while I slept) We had to get up early to catch Michelle's cheer meet but we would have soooo stayed longer! We had the best time! Who knows? Maybe we'll turn super outdoorsy?
