I remember there being this phase Michelle went through that was pretty much her "terrible twos" I had even written about my thoughts on it. Which helped to go back and read often!

Scarlett has finally started getting past this phase and its been a huge weight lifted! Around 18 mths is when it starts for mine, then at about 2 it actually gets a lot better. It was literally down to her 2nd birthday on the dot when she just started lessening the fits and started learning to talk more, play with Michelle more etc. (Shell is actually getting her first taste of a little copy cat, example - Scarlett's almost more obsessed with Wizard of Oz then she is now! LOL) You think the day never comes, but I tell ya be patient! Now every day she'll say a new word very clear and now has formed many sentences. She's more patient when it comes to meals and isn't so desperate to eat everything she sees in the grocery store or tries to grab things in the pantry. I stuck to a schedule and hardly gave in to fits by distracting her with other activities, and I tell ya that was work, not just a couple of weeks but non stop over months. Not that having a schedule or certain discipline "heals or stops" the terrible twos, but it made it easier for me.
Anyway, its been a joy the past month watching my girls interact and finally being able to communicate with Scarlett on a much easier level. With all that was going on during those months it felt like I was never going to catch up. But now I see that our family is becoming more and more functional (well in a sense of how functional families can actually get LOL) We're now even starting potty training, aka introducing her to sitting on the potty. She hates being dirty and basically will bring a new diaper and wipes to the floor and lay down and wait. She can also say the word potty, so I figured its time to start that process!
The Clermont girls are doing great, and can't wait for all the fun activities this year!
