ARA's Western Party

Ben's company party was this past Saturday and as usual we had a great time! This years theme was Western. What's funny is while Ben and I were leaving the garage the men working asked what type of event we were going too. After answering I told Ben "Wait a minute, aren't we dressed like Texans? We could be going anywhere! LOL We had a good chuckle over that one, ah! I'm so funny!

It was held at Austin Music Hall again and this time they had Salt Lick BBQ catered! I honestly took a risk at people possibly thinking I was pregnant by piling on a bunch of food on my plate! I can't help it! Delish!!

Activity's this year - the mechanical bull, Ben tried it and did very well! The rope was in an awkward placement (right between the legs) so everyone's pics/videos you always would do a double take! LOL

Then there was the armadillo racing, Ben did that as well. You hold the armadillo by the tale and then let it go leading it to one side and then back again. He won! The prize? A little shot glass with bluebonnets LOL Michelle is happy with her new "Baby cup!"

The music this time was of corse a country band, but poor guys NO ONE danced. Should've hired Taylor Swift I guess.

That was pretty much it for activities and the line for the pictures was major long, you could either dress up in costumes or take regular ones, I decided since we spent money on our look, we might as well keep it on. They printed out antique looking, so cute!

That night we mingled a lot, we chatted with a bunch of old friends and made a couple new ones. And we were reunited with the Robinsons, a couple we knew from church who we had fun talking to and even got some of the antique pics with!

All in all it was a nice night out!
