My brothers are now both out of the house and off serving missions for our church. In the Mormon faith, it is tradition for boys to serve a mission when they turn 19. They don't know where they'll go when they turn in their papers until the call comes in the mail. I gotta tell you its such a cool experience hearing those letters! Robert got his first and found out his call is in the , Colorado, Colorado Springs English speaking mission reporting Jan 4th and Seth got his much later but found out he was called to the California Fresno Spanish speaking mission reporting Feb 2nd!
Preparing for two at once was quite an experience for the whole family really, we've never been far apart, so its a different feeling. As of yesterday Seth left on a plane with my Mom and I came home really digesting it and I feel so much joy! Sure I'll miss them, but two years, although its time still passes soon enough. I'm so excited to great them back and meet the new MEN they'll become!
I'm proud of my baby brothers!
