We went to church and the highlight was hearing Michelle sing at the front of sacrament meeting for the first time with the primary kids. She say "Mother I love you" a song we've been singing together the past week. It was cute!! There were also many good talks about mothers, which were so comforting and gave me extra strength.
After, since we go all the way to Georgetown building, I asked if we could stop by to visit Logan. We got to see the stone and flowers laid out. I actually didn't cry...I mean don't get me wrong I felt that sting in my throat and chest, but I was filled with joy. I had to include him on my mothers day! So I was mostly filled with grattidue that I can feel such peace and truly reflect on what motherhood is, and how important it is to me.
Later we gave my Mom her cards and we played board games with my whole family and had pizza and cheesecake! My sister bought my Mom and I perfect cards and each had a gift card! Mine is to Olive Garden! Awes!
So it was a very peaceful and loving Mother's Day! I love my job!
