September 25th my beautiful baby turned 2! The day before we got some photos taken, some in her fancy dress, and I did Halloween ones again! Every time I see this pics I melt, I love her expressions, how her eyes light up, and even her crazy moments!
Her party was awesome! I'd been planning it for a while, it was Tinkerbell theme one of Shelly's fav characters. We had it outside which got pretty hot, but kids don't care. We got a bouncy house, and I made her cake. I like putting my classes to use!
We had tons of kids, many of her closest friends came ranging ages 4 mths to 3 years! They all played and had a great time! She loved all her gifts! We definetly felt the love. Ben and I bought her a pink coupe, she loves putting her dolls in a car seat in the back and take them places.
I feel so blessed to have such great friends and family! It was a great day for our princess!
I've never done this but I thought it was a good idea since her baby book is full and I don't want to forget a list of her accomplishments at 2. Her apt is next week I'll add her height and weight then.
Hair goes to her shoulders
Can count to 16 (I know random stopping point)
Says her ABCs and can identify many letters
Has about 90% of Disney songs memorized, all the princess ones for sure
Says her name very clear now
Calls us Mom and Dad and many times Rachel and Ben
Wears 18mth clothing and some 2T so still skinny mini
Wears size 6 shoe her feet are long but skinny so we always need a strap
Loves to Dance
Knows all the main shapes
Learned alternative colors (maroon, aqua) and at 18 mths knew all the main colors
Loves to color
Is super social with other kids, is shy at first around other adults
Does an amazing Oscar winning fake cry
Cleans up her toys while singing "Clean up" or "Whistle while you work"
Loves her baths still, says she's Ariel
Can tell when she needs to go potty, not really going each time IN the potty
Takes one 3 hour nap during the day
Loves to watch Sound of Music and can do the entire "So long farewell" scene
Knows all about Holidays
Loves the mall and "shopping"
Is scared of leaves and pretty much anything that can float in the wind (petals etc)
Also scared of the Thriller video, but always asks to watch it
Loves the outdoors
Can take her shoes on and off on her own
Loves tomatoes and green beans, and all fruit
