She was dressed as Alice this year! I got the costume 2 years ago $40 marked down to $7 which was nice. I got the headband last year on sale too. So we were set! I had her watch parts of Alice in Wonderland and read her some books based on the disney film so she could get excited about the character.

To celebrate on the actual holiday, the 30th we went to my Dell's halloween fair with my dad, she loved the carnival games and won Bednobs and Broomsticks on DVD. That night we went to a friends Trunk or Treat. She and Jaidyn got so much candy they kept dropping their buckets!

Halloween we baked all morning and that afternoon went to our ward's Trunk or Treat where she had fun with all her nursery friends, and then it was off to do some Trick or Treating!

It was her first time, but after describing it a million times over the past month she caught right on. We got tons of video and pics! (yeah we're those parents)
It was funny she would knock and say "Come in!" then when they would answer she would say "Please Trick or Treat!" She always wanted to put the candy in her pink pumpkin bucket herself and then would smile at the neighbors and wave saying "Thank you good bye!" Sometimes she would keep turning around and say good bye over and over while we walked away.

She was chatting with us the whole time about all the decorations she saw, it was non stop chatting and giggles from her!
I was so happy she enjoyed her holiday so much, she's definitely a mini me since both my mom and I are pretty much over the top when it comes to holidays!

The next day we explained Halloween was over and that Thanksgiving time was here, she got a little confused and sometimes sad when she saw decor come down, but now she's all about Thanksgiving turkeys and fall leaves! LOL
And I must admit, I shed a few tears packing her costume! I bought it when she had just come home from the hospital so tiny! Now its over! She's worn it and is growing still! At least she got to use it about 6 times this month, and I'll let her use it for dress up or for her sister too!
