Boleyn at Home

Boleyn turned 2 months soon after she came home. At that mark she was 7lbs and 19 inches! That was the second day after having my gallbladder taken out, so it was a crazy time! I was in a lot of pain and adjusting to having a new baby with us. I felt like I was failing miserably! However it was the last day of school so that freed up a lot of time.

Having Boleyn home with us was a true joy. She was so peaceful and quiet! Michelle and Scarlett wanted to help all day! Changing diapers, feedings, holding her, just everything! Watching them together has been the greatest reward for me. I love dressing her up and holding her whenever I wanted. Eliminating the hospital visits took a major weight off our shoulders. I felt like I had so much time in my day all the sudden.

For that month we didn't really hit any milestones. She was still sleeping most of the day, so we got a couple of alert looks but not many. The big sisters were disappointed about that and couldn't wait till she would be old enough to laugh and look at them. Other then that we just kept up the goal of getting her weight up!!
