Bieber Fever!

I took Shelly to a Justin Bieber concert on July 3rd! Many have asked where her interest sprung from. First off, well...I'm her Mom! Lol I love main stream pop music and I had bought his last album. The movie really started the craze. We watched it about two years ago and shes seen it many times since.

We made a poster which was tons of fun, both shopping for it and putting it together. I made her a purple tutu, and found myself a JB shirt at Kohls for 4 bucks! Yay! The rest of our outfits we had. The show was in Dallas so we had a fun road trip.

When we arrived I had some money I saved over the past few months to let her pick out whatever souvenirs she wanted. She got a program and lunch box. We caught the opening acts and then waited for Justin. We were actually seated behind a couple Moms with young girls ages 7, 5 and one 3! (And I thought Shelly was going to be the youngest! wow!) So Shelly had fun chatting with them. The whole audience did the wave which was new to Shell who loved it. We did a "Justin chant". Ex - "Justin! Justin! Justin!" Occasionally it would switch to just shouting Bieber! Impressive! Lol

When he came on stage Michelle went nuts! I was laughing so hard! I didn't know how she was going to react, so I'm glad the show lived up to her expectations. We danced and sang along. She kept saying, "Mom, I didn't know he was a real person!" I guess she was under the impression he was a cartoon? Lol No, it made sense, celebs can seem unreal with todays media.

Near the end she did get super tired. So I held her and we just quietly watched the last four songs. The show ended at 11, so when we got to our friends house it was pretty much the latest night she's ever had.

She hasn't stopped thanking me for that night. It was so much fun!
