Epcot!!

The day after MK was a very raining day, so we made that one of our free days (the good thing about adding a day or two to your Disney trip). We shopped at Downtown Disney and went to Bongos for dinner. Which was amazing!

The next day we went to Epcot! The girls had been watching this old Epcot video I had from when I was little. They watched that thing a couple times a day for months. So they already had a major connection and were so ready to go. When we started driving up Scarlett saw the big Spaceship Earth (aka giant golf ball LOL) and she yelled "EPCOT!!!!" She started jumping up and down and screaming on the bus, which had people both alarmed and cracking up! Haha!

We spent the morning going on Spaceship earth, and checking out the Nemo ride and aquarium. Turtle Talk was also a major hit! Scarlett is in a pretty big Nemo phase, and for Shell that was one we watched pretty much daily at age two as well, so they LOVED this area!

Then we started on the World showcase, which if done right will take you most of the day into the late evening. (Ouchie for the feet) Mexico was first and we rode their ride twice which the girls loved. Right as we got off the ride Donald came out wearing a Sombrero. The girls went nutz! So we got that visit checked off.

Mexico

Next was Norway, which we had a lunch reservation for Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. The girls got changed into their princess costumes and looked so cute. First we are greeted by Belle at the entrance. Scarlett was star stuck. This was the first princess they were meeting and Scarlett was wearing a Belle dress. LOL She looks at her and says "Belle? I'm Belle too!!" She chatted with both her and Shell for quite a bit and then we took a family pic. Scarlett didn't want to leave she just kept looking at her in awe and asking her lots of questions about her dress and the beast LOL! When we were seated we met our very nice waitress who my Dad got to speak to in Norwegian. He served his mission there and it was the first time we got to see him have an actual convo with someone who is from there. So neat! This was the main driving force for having lunch at this place, and the princesses where a major bonus! First princess to come to the table was Aurora aka Michelle's idol! Haha. This time Michelle was star struck, she was just so happy. Next to visit was Cinderella which was a surprise because I heard she's usually not at this meal. Scarlett was jumping up and down since Cinderella is now tied for first with Rapunzel on her list. Last princess was Snow White. Scarlett ran to her and immediately started asking about the witch and the apple and what happened? Snow White really went along with it and talked to the girls for a bit. (She was seriously my fav after that) My Mom and I were tearing up, it was so cute. Later an announcement was made for a princess parade around the restaurant. Snow White came back to the girls and asked them to lead with her. Awesome!! I got some amazing video. The girls were just in heaven! A big plus with this meal is we got the photo with Belle printed in an 8-10 and 4 41/2 by 5s included in a nice cover. I LOVE this!!

Norway

After that we went to China and looked around at the shops etc. Then we were set to meet Mulan. When she saw Scarlett's dress she gave her a huge hug! She also spent lots of time with the girls which means so much when they don't rush and really give kids attention. Scarlett kept saying "I like you're necklace!" and "Ohh! I like you're make up!!" Before leaving Mulan asked if she could get a pic with Scarlett. Her photographer whispered to me after that the actress keeps pics too. I thought that was too cute.

China

We spent lots of time in each "country". I thought the girls would get warn out, but the recognized each place and wanted to really look around. So we were there for a while! Which is good because I myself didn't want to rush through.



Germany



Morocco

Scarlett did fall asleep at one point and was so out she didn't get to meet two characters. But Michelle did get to meet Aladdin and Jasmine, who when it started sprinkling asked the kids to "take a walk with them" to another location. Michelle was feeling so VIP lol. Aladdin joked around with her which made her super shy haha! Then when getting to France Shelly met Marie who is the cat from her first favorite Disney movie Aristocats. Marie played with her for a bit and loved her dress as well.

When we got to the UK Scarlett was wide awake in time to meet Mary Poppins! She chatted with her a lot and at one point spotted a squirl near by and points it out to Mary. She suggests in character that they go take a look. She holds both the girls hands and they walk over and they look at the squirl and some flowers. I was so impressed by these people! It makes a Mama VERY happy! Ben and I also took some extra time in the UK reenacting some pics from our London trip. We honestly got flash backs! My favorite is the mini Hampton court! Amazing!

For dinner Michelle had been wanting to have Chinese food in China. A dream that had to be realized! LOL So we ate at a cute little place and left when it got dark during the fireworks. When we left the girls yelled out "Bye Epcot!! We love you!!" It really was amazing! Love it!
