The summer is slowly but surly winding down and plans for the end of the year are already thick! Many changes are happening which can be scary but exciting at the same time!
Ben - I've been so proud of all the hard work he's done for us! We're ready to loose the 2nd job by the end of the year which is nice, and he has decided to go back to school for the long hall...the VERY long hall. But we figure if he's spent this much time with a full time job AND a part time job he's beyond capable to do this! His plan is to pursue Radiology, way to go babe!
Me - I have everything set up to start school in a few weeks! I have a year under my belt and decided to just get out there and finish! The plan is to continue with ACC and then transfer to Texas State in a year or so. I've changed my major to Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Business Management. So I'm beyond pumped! We're also set on having another baby, and hoping it will be soon!
Michelle - Our first princess will be starting preschool the first week of September. She's crazy excited to go! We've picked out some school supplies and just need a backpack. She has been begging for a Justin Bieber one, and I'm trying to convince her to go with Barbie because I'm NOT ready to have her completely in the pop scene! LOL She's already in her third week of competitive cheerleading! This is her thing for sure! This first day I was so nervous for her, and I even saw tears stinging in her eyes, but she fought through and ended smiling and laughing non stop. Only a week later, she made lots of friends and improved so much that the coaches were surprised! She just loves to practice all the time. Its tons of work, something that I'm paying for myself and will be very involved in as a "Cheer Mom" We're ready! Her 5th birthday is next month and we're already working on her party which will be "Breakfast at Tiffany's" theme. It will be fun to see her and the girls dressed up! LOL
Scarlett - Still strong in the potty area! When she's had accidents its when she's been lazy, or too busy with a toy. But the time out is so traumatizing it doesn't happen to often! LOL We have a Dr apt coming up to check this huge bump on the back of her head behind her ear. We had it looked at last year and were told it wasn't a big deal. But now its gotten bigger, and we think its interfering with her hearing and speech. Regardless it has to be removed. Not sure what to expect, but we'll just be ready!
The real big thing if all this isn't enough already, will be looking for our first house! We've already been working with a realtor and will start looking when we get back from our trip. Its a big step! But we're beyond ready!
It will be nice to finally go on our Disney trip and really relax until the year gets crazy busy! I've been working my butt of with all the plans, its so exhausting! But I know it will be the greatest experience!! (Rain or shine!) LOL So stay tuned for a blog full of Disney posts soon!
