Clermont Family Day
Michelle started asking questions about when Logan was born. She wanted to know if there where birthday parties in heaven. I stayed very light and enthused but started wondering what we would do on that day. Luckily two days before, the cemetery put on a spring nature day. They had refreshments, soft music, and nature walks. So we went to that and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and peaceful environment. I felt strange about the idea of having a little party. I mean, we never got to have one with him, so it didn't feel right. But I couldn't imagine ignoring the day, or making it one to sit around feeling depressed. Then the idea hit me. I decided to make April 24th a family day. Every year we will speand that time together as a family, remembering that it doesn't matter how near or far we are from eachother, we're a family forever. We did get cupcakes from our favorite place, since Michelle was persistant that some sort of cake be involved for Logan's birthday. She also made a few "Rainbow" invitations that she gave out to my family! LOL We went to Rudy's for lunch since that was were we celebrated finding out he was a boy. We went to a park, and then played games at home. We told the girls stories about their birth and how their Dad and I met, talked about our wedding day. It was very relaxed and just plain special.
