I searched and searched for good family events for St.Patrick's Day this year and found it was a dead end. There were maybe two festivals, and although kids go, there are really know activites for them really. Mostly centered around drinking. Bummer. Maybe next year we'll make our own kid fest or something!
That morning I made the girls some green pancakes and they wore green dress up clothes. Later I still got the girls dressed up and we went out for some Shepherd's pie and a trip to Barnes and Noble. We've now done that for about three years now, no particular reason, but the girls always have lots of fun!
BUT note to self - pinterest has too many cute ideas to waste for this holiday, I'm determined to do something with it next year!
