Easter 2011

I don't want to forget to write down some of the fun times we've had with family and friends in the past month. We actually did quite a bit for Easter during April. First thing was taking Michelle to make the bunny from Hop at Build A Bear and then seeing the movie after. She loves the movies AND holidays (hmmm like Ben and Me?) LOL It was a fun day.


We saw the Easter Bunny, both of the girls loved visiting him. During the picture they were distracted, and then Ben came up behind the guy and made the funniest faces that got the best smiles out of both of them! Greatest Bunny pic yet! Thank you Daddy!


We painted Easter eggs, Michelle learned about the concept early in the month and would ask every day "Do we paint eggs yet??" So when we finally did it she was soooo excited and was a natural. And turns out she likes hard boiled eggs and ask for that to be her dinner over the next couple nights LOL We really enjoyed that time.



We went to a community Easter egg hunt with our friend Heather, her mom and two beautiful girls who Michelle and Scarlett adore! They found tons of eggs in a huge field at the park with tons of other kids in their age group. The Easter bunny pulled up in a fire trunk and the announcer told all the kids to look at him...problem was his head wasn't on yet, so the guy just had it floating out the window. That was a highlight for us adults! LOL After the girls played on the playground and we sat in the shade, enjoying the beautiful weather.



Later that night we went to a church Easter choir concert my Dad was in. The girls got to wear their dresses again and looked gorgeous!

The girls did get baskets, Michelle got a movie she wanted "Sharpey's Fabulous Adventure" I'm in awe that she's starting to watch more "live action" kid films along with animated ones. So she was excited. I'm glad we have those memories with the girls and that I had so many good times during my final month pregnant, so bittersweet but all in all it was a great month!
