Family Update!

Here is a little run through on the Clermont clan.

Scarlett turned 10 mths today. I want to cry. LOL She is the sweetest baby ever, I want to pause each moment with her! Lately she's been teething, the bottom two have broken through and its been hard on all of us. She cries a lot, something that Michelle didn't really do. Scarlett screams with pain. BUT she still sleeps all night and gets some rest during the day. It has been long and difficult though for sure. She is crawling everywhere now! We finally bought a super long gate to block the stairs and hall way. She can roam from the toy room to the dinning room, and sometimes we block off the toy area so its one huge play pen. So yeah, growing up but still the softest sweetest little girl!

Michelle I wrote about before this post. We're just super proud of how smart she's becoming and what a great big sis she is. And so happy that she is 100% potty trained, meaning house, public, everywhere trained! Its so great!

Ben is still in the training dept. He's always been a hard worker and I'm so grateful for that. He started school again and has been doing well. I have much longer days, but its for a good cause so you better believe I don't complain and let him do his thing. We have forever together, so whats a couple nights a week?

I have been going through a lot the past couple months. I think after my birthday I told myself to really focus on me and my goals, along with my family as a whole. I heard a talk at church reiterating that if the mother isn't strong as an individual the whole family can crumble. So I've been putting me on the front line on many occasions, which most moms can agree feels strange and selfish at times, but I tell you its so worth it! Health has been the biggest thing. I lost 25 lbs through healthy eating (I don't do "diets" anymore) and exercises. Here's the thing, that's a big number right? Well without giving too much away - I'm still considered overweight at the Dr office. Yeah. Do the math, before that loss I was not so good. But its also been a very slow and long process, but I'm not giving up. I'm down 3 pant sizes which is awesome. When I finally bought new clothes that fit, I'm seeing how far I need to go, but I'm not worrying cause I'm doing something right!

As a whole we've been enjoying getting ready for the holidays! With two kids it feels like more of a holiday feeling around with all the laughter and business. I love it! We've been enjoying spending time with friends. I'm very blessed to have so many great friendships. Not a week goes by without being included in some great company. We've been busy at church, I have a nursery calling that keeps me on my toes, and Ben has enjoyed having great examples around him that he relates to. Michelle loves church and begs to go...this doesn't last long so we're enjoying it! LOL Well that's it for now! We'll have tons of updates through the holiday season I'm sure!
