Scarlett 9 mths!

Scarlett is one lucky girl who got to celebrate 9 mths on the beach!

Weight - 15.5 lbs (5th %tile)
Height - 26.4 inches (10th %tile)
Head - 22 inches (5th %tile)

So much has happened for our baby girl!! Ironically after many set backs with crawling she made a break through! The bate was Daddy's glasses! I got it on tape, so thats awesome! A week later she started sitting up on her own, so the past two weeks have been busy! Scarlett is so much happier now being able to get around! We have had the apartment baby proofed since I moved in, so luckily it hasn't been too crazy. She is playing with lots of toys and looking at lots of books! She has also taken notice to the TV so its funny when Shelly watches something, the baby looks up too! LOL. She is starting to pull up, just to her knees, but we'll probably see her grazing furniture any time now! Her babbling is non stop, and has repeated Mama now...so its Da Da DA Ma Ma MA. And anytime Michelle yells out something or sings, Scarlett joins! I really really needed this, a couple posts back I was venting about the struggles, I prayed and prayed for some ease and comfort, for not only me but really for her too. Her mind is way a head of where her body is. So this past month has been a blessing.

Her appointment went very well, no shots this time!! We've gotten the ok to pierce her ears, so that should be soon. She can also start baby food, so I've got my recipe book out and ready to try my own stuff! Its good cause now she knows when we are all eating and wants to join! She's tried sampling some of Shell's food, so its about time! LOL Her weight is perfect considering her early start, at first the nurse was like AH! She is really scary small! Luckily she spotted preemie on the chart, for a sec I thought I'd have CPS on my butt! LOL Yikes...but no worries she's perfect!

Next time we see the Dr she'll be 1!!!! I can't believe it! Both of the girls birthdays are on Saturdays this year, so the parties are already set! LOL Shelly is super excited about their birthdays this year since she can understand it means parties! They're also invited to a NICU reunion party back at the hospital and will reunite with their fellow friends aka roommates! It will be great meeting new friends to relate to! So we can't wait for this second have of the year, birthdays, holidays, lots of fun!!!
