Its been a year of blogging!!! Yay!!!
The night before I cleaned the apartment and had it trimmed with my beautiful Easter decor! I filled the baskets as I watched the classic Easter Parade! Which makes me want to walk down the street in a dress and huge hat!!
Easter started out kinda sad, Michelle is very sick! We think its strep. But she's been so sweet and positive! She woke up and helped look for Scarlett's basket first (In our family the Bunny hides the baskets, it was always a lot of fun looking for them and it makes the morning last!) Scarlett's was above the cabinets, and Michelle's was under her desk in her toy room!
She lit up when she saw her basket and started digging in! She got peeps, a chocolate bunny and princess eggs filled with jelly beans! All the classic sweets! They each got bunny's from Bambi, Thumper and his sister bunny.
Then Shelly watched the Easter Winnie the Pooh film. After a healthy breakfast (other then her candy intake! LOL)
Scarlett was in love with her bunny! She was all smiles from morning to night, she enjoyed the sunshine and watching her sister with such excitement! We went to my parents house. Waiting there were more baskets for the girls! My mom got Ben and I Glee season 1, I've already watched it a couple times so owning it felt right! Conference was on, and Easter dinner was amazing! My mom made ham and the works, it was actually within Ben and my eating plan so it was nice! I did have a little something sweet, no biggie!
When the sun came back out after some drizzle, my sister hid the eggs outside, and the Clermonts stepped out in Easter dress watching Shelly find eggs! We are all feeling sick at the end of the day! I'm sad! Hopefully we'll be better soon, but it was a great Easter Day! I love what it represents, I feel like the past can be dark and behind me and I start a new day fresh and better then ever! I love my savior for giving me this gift of fresh beginnings only the atonement can bring!
