This year the beginning of the day started off with lots of swimming and food. Michelle is doing so well with her swimming, she now jumps of the steps, puts her face in the water and starts kicking and moving her arms towards us! She does get tired quickly and sometimes doesn't know how to take a break, so we still have to really really watch her. But I'm so happy she's learning on her own, and I feel much safer because she knows to go on her back at least if she's struggling.
That evening we went to Sam and Karly's parents for a big BBQ and fireworks. The pic above shows the hot mamas. I was happy to meet little Kaydence! She is such a sweet baby, and look how beautiful she is!!! It made Ben and I want another! (Oh wait..) Shell loved the wide open spaces and celebrated her own independence from us since I let her wonder further then 2 feet from us wear she found a new rock collection, and new dog friends to chase (both she still named Anastasia)
Last year - Michelle was Jaiyden's age and actually wore that same outfit LOL Laura was preggo and awaiting the joys of motherhood. Heather was about to pop, and Karly was a newlywed.
This year - Michelle is almost 2 and I'm preggo, Laura's baby will be 1 soon! Heather left us which still hurts! LOL And now Karly has a beautiful girl of her own! I still find it cool we all had girls! And the Dads are pretty much still dorks! JK They're awesome!
It was fun chatting and enjoying the amazing AC! LOL The Shelly and Kaydence freaked out about the fireworks and started crying, Jaiyden toughed it out for a while longer, but it was still fun watching them on the way home while Shelly kept begging for bed. It was a fun day for her!
It was a great 4th, can't wait for next year!

Our 2nd year in a row and I can't believe how much has changed! Thank goodness for AC and Wally hehe! Oh! You forgot to mention how Ben saved the "forest" by extinguishing the fire with his thumb which resulted in a boo-boo!lol
