Boleyn's Room

I became a big fan of the pink and gold trend from the moment it started popping up in home décor sights everywhere last year. I love the lux feel! Most of these pieces I already had. The dresser turned changing table is one I had had since I was a kid. I painted it the beautiful gold color and added new hardware. The trend was new enough that it was hard for me to find the perfect bedding without spending a good grand on it. So I found these materials I liked and had the bumper and crib skirt handmade for me. The sheet I found to coordinate at Baby's R Us. I purposely wanted to incorporate three different shades of pink and a couple shades of gold. It allowed a lot of flexibility when it came to piecing a look together and saving money at the same time. Other glamorous elements include Barbie designer Robert Best, Audrey Hepburn, poodles and British royalty. I can't resist a good pink and gold glitter deer head? I for one cannot!
