Michelle's school put on a Valentine dance for the kids and their families. Parents told me its the most anticipated event of the year and I can see why! They go all out! Michelle was having the time of her life dancing with her friends! There was also a photo booth and lots of snacks. Michelle was sure to time breaks in her dancing so she could sample all the food! Lol Can't wait to stick with this tradition in the future.
On Valentine's Day Michelle had a classic school party, complete with games and Valentines! The biggest hit was the photo booth. The kids had so much fun taking silly pics together! Even the parents got in on some funny photos!
That night Ben and I took the girls on a family date and surprised them with a trip to Build A Bear to make some My Little Ponies they had been drooling over for weeks. They had a blast and those ponies have been glued to them since. They also got a brush each that they love to use to brush the manes.
Ben had my favorite chocolates delivered from Lee's. I gave him a coupon for a shopping trip, since he has had an itch to go out without dealing with girl stores to get himself something! Lol So he and I kept it low key this year and focused on the girls, but in the end we had one of the best Valentines ever!
