October 5th - Disney Store Halloween Dress Rehearsal!
Fun crafts/games, lots of kids, and a parade!
October 20th - DogtoberFest!
A chance for the girls to take Anastasia out to mingle with the cutest pups in Austin. Wiener Dog races, costume contests, the works!
October 24th - Pumpkin Patch!
Classic pumpkin pics and a chance to run around and check out all the crazy shapes!
October 26th - Dell Halloween Carnival -
My Dad's job has an annual Halloween carnival for family members. They love having that memory with my Dad! Its way fun!
October 27th - Round Rock Fall Festival -
We go every year! Lots of games, a hay ride, inflatables, ponies and food. All free! Love that!
Stony Point Trunk or Treat -
Our ward had a fall fest with some great games, company and a chance to be creative with our car! Michelle was very excited that she had a chance to bob for apples for the first time. A life long dream was realized! Nice! Haha! Scarlett liked searching hay for candy!
This year Ben and I were bank robbers and we turned our trunk into the "Bank of Treats". We robbed it and sharred the loot with the trunk or treaters! Along with candy we also had play money! Again everything was made with things around the house. Cardboard, paint even part of a cup holder was used to make a lock on the safe! It was fun!
Every year we visit my parents as well. I grew up with these people and the girls have lots of friends there. Michelle had fun handing out candy near the end and telling kids "Happy Halloween!" Such a hostess I tell ya! LOL
October 29th - Baking and Pumpkin Carving
That night Ben was working, so I conquered both! The girls and I had a blast making pumpkin bread together! They love helping me bake! It was so fun! While one batch was baking we started on the pumpkins. I thought they'd get over it after a few minutes, but they loved cleaning it out and really took over! Then I carved a classic face while still adding loaves in the oven! It was lots of work, but we had so much fun together! Major bonding moment! Awesome!
October 30th - Michelle's Preschool Concert and Party -
Shelly's school had a parade with the kids all dressed up then they preformed a bunch of Halloween songs for their families! After they had a party for the kids! Michelle loved it! We also brought her teacher a gift with some pumpkin bread in a witches boot that Michelle picked out. It was very cute! We were in charge of favors for the kids. We had goody bags with play-doe, stickers and vampire teeth!
Library Party -
This year I got to have one on one time with Scarlett at the library's annual party! She had fun dancing and listening to the stories and sampling all the good food! I'm glad I got this time cause she usually tags along all of Michelle's things. So she felt special!
October 31 - Old Settler's Festival -
Fun for the kids at the park! More carnival games and sweets! Its fun running into every Mommy friend you have out there as well! Its a must!
Trick or Treating! -
The girls were really into it this year! They hit up tons of homes and had a few scares! Nice, classic fun! They dumped out their candy and picked a night snack! In the car, they fell right to sleep! LOL
It was another amazing October! I teared up when I hung up the costumes that night! This was that poofy princess year! They are growing up fast as they say! I'm glad they had some good times!
