Animal Kingdom!!!

This park is so awesome! I love how its a completely different environment from the others. We put it off to the last day since the original time we wanted to go it was raining a ton. We took some good advice and went on the Safari first thing since the animals are apparently at their most alert, etc. The highlights were the Giraffes where so close that if you could not only touch them but probably hug them! Haha. (But you can't...no no) They had a baby one too! Scarlett hasn't been to a zoo or anything similar yet, BUT she is obsessed with this animal baby Einstein we have and animal books, so this giraffe was like a major deal for her. We saw elephants up close including their new baby! The coolest was the lion. He was awake alert, and checking us out...hmmmm. LOL It was pretty awesome!

We had our breakfast reservation right after that at the Tusker House. This is a buffet style restaurant with African cuisine. (No worries American favorites are present for some of you pickies LOL) This was a character meal as well staring Donald, Mickey, Daisy and Goofy decked out in Safari gear! The girls, again were in love! Scarlett kept telling Daisy she loved her make up - of course!

We went over to visit Pocahantas next. Yet again Scarlett kept looking at her necklace and saying how pretty it was. She asked about the um...tattoo on her arm LOL She said it was a symbol of her being a daughter of a cheif. She told Michelle she loved her long hair, and saw the patch on Scarlett's dress saying "Oh! That was me when I was a little girl!" No surprise Scarlett ran back for a few hugs and then yelled "Bye Pocahantas!!!"

The shows we saw - Lion King, and Finding Nemo the Musical. The Nemo show was amazing, we almost didn't get a chance to see it. I would 've been so sad if we did! The girls were in awe! Its a must see! We also caught the Bugs Life 3D film. Michelle was creeped out! LOL

Rides we went on, The Trisaratops which Scarlett adored. A Dinosaur ride that even I had to close my eyes a couple times FREAKY!!! !!Expidition Everest has to be my favorite coaster ever! We went on it 5 times! The Yetti is so awesome and the ride goes all kinds of ways and switches tracks etc. Its got it all! We loved it! Michelle did get to go on this one as well! Brave girl!

We were about to leave when we stopped to discuss dinner plans. The girls were dancing to some music they had playing, after a couple minutes we were approached by some Disney photographers who are with the marketing dept. They asked us if they could take pics of the girls playing that they could use for various ads for the park. Can't say no to that! After signing some release forms they also hooked me up with a ton of coupons for free prints of our photo pass pics online! That saved me a ton since they're $14 for every 2 prints! The girls kepts playing and laughing so they got a lot of great shots! I should be getting an email letting me know what they'll be used in. After that we ate some burgers at a Dino Restaurant.

Late that night my sisters, Dad, Ben and I all went back to Hollywood studios to ride Star Tours, Rockin Roller Coasters,  and Tower of Terror a few more times. The last time we rode the Tower we were the only ones in our "elevator" so it was cool having it to ourselves!! Good times!
