Michelle was chatting with my Mom and me earlier and was saying "Uh! I really don't want to have a baby mom!"I told her that wouldn't happen for a long time when she's grown up and married. Then she says "But I don't want to grow up and get married! I want to stay a kid right now!" I explained it will be a good amount of time and she need not panic. She said she was ok with it if it was a long time away and that she would like to get married if that was the case. Then my Mom asked, "Who are you going to marry Michelle?" She thought for a minute and said, "Welllll I don't know if there are two of my Dads, but if there are two I will marry one of them, yes I will marry another one just like my Daddy!"
I love love love this phase when little girls can only imagine one man in their lives, their father. At this age no one else can compete, no other guy can seem close to his greatness. The ONLY way she could imagine getting married was if there was an exact clone of him! LOL I hear this won't last, but subconsciously the type of man their Dad is, will be the type of man they will seek. I see a lot of that in my own life. Pressure on our dudes much?
She ended the conversation saying, "But I don't want to worry about my husband right now."
Haha! Now that is sounding more like a woman talking! Yikes! LOL
