Festive Ending

Michelle and I wrapped up the first semester of Joy School. The last week was a blast! I taught that week. The first day all the Moms and our kids went to a retirement home to preform our Nativity play and sing some Joy School Christmas songs. The kids did amazing and the residents in attendance were all smiles and applause. The next day of school we baked and made Christmas cards and read Christmas books. The following Monday was the Christmas party at our place. Michelle and I got the whole place ready and the kids were so excited that their Dads would be in attendance! We started with the play, the kids nailed it! Then they sang their songs as well. (Scarlett even joined them on "The Stage") After we all sampled some amazing holiday treats that each Mom brought and the little Rice Krispy Treat wreaths the kids had made! Then the kids gave out the cards they made and played with each-other including the many siblings while the adults visited.

We are so grateful for this program and what it has done for Michelle. She has gained tons of knowledge and confidence that I could have never given her on my own! Its also kept me busy and given me something to work on which has kept me sane! Now we'll enjoy a nice break and be ready for another semester starting in January!
