Scarlett hit the year and a half mark on the 4th! I can't tell you how much this girl has grown! It has been fast and includes her learning something new every day! We need to get to the Dr for her stats which I'll add later.
Appearance
This girl weighs 21lbs (10%tile.) Scarlett wears 12mth clothing which some brands still fit on the baggy side. Her hair is amazing! A bunch of tight wound curls! We still have her Hello Kitty earrings in. She is very tall, has mommy's eyes and skin tone. She has 10 teeth, most of which came up in the past couple months which has been very hard for her but she's made it through. She wears size 4 shoes. She will start removing them when she's tired lol. Her expressions are so sassy! She will get this look where her head is down eyes looking up and mouth curled in, its funny almost like she's sassing us. Her profile is so cute with her little swooped button nose! And she now does a cheesy grin at times.
Personality
This girl is a talker! She learns a new word every other day! And if she doesn't have the words she'll just blab and blab! The cutest thing is how she talks on the phone, obviously like me and Shell. One hand holding the phone, the other hand moving around while talking. (I'm a hand talker) Its so funny! Words she knows and understands the meaning - Mama, Daddy, MumMum (is usually my mom) Di-Di (my sisters) TayYA - Anastasia, Hi (with waving) and Bu Bye, Uh oh, Yes and No (very clearly when we ask her a question, like Nap?) Please and Thank you, Cheeese! (when pic is taken) Go! (she usually tells the dog probably cause we say that to her when she comes into their room) The first thing she started saying was "Ow!" whenever I brushed her hair since her sister always does that. The funniest of all is YEAH?! That she'll shout out from another room when Ben, her sister and I call for her! Those are the clearest words, when she's not saying those she's blabbing something! She loves dressing up, playing with my purses, shoes and jewelry. She loves singing and dancing. She cleans! I'm talking finds a rag and starts scrubbing tables and has a play vacuum and broom she uses for the floors! Even in restaurants she'll whip down the table! LOL Like most kids she is attacted to any phone, or remote! When Michelle got a play laptop from Ben's grandma, Scarlett freaked out and usually its with her all day along with Michelle video games.
Habbits
Her eating has changed, she went from 9 mths finally being able to hold her cereal, to an eating machine taking down every crumb in sight, to now slowing down to a good pace. She eats whats on her plate and doesn't try grabbing the rest of our food after! LOL She sleeps through the night still and does very well sharring a room with Shelly. Only problem is being out during her nap time, she'll be a little fussy because she prefers a bed. But she'll end up crashing in the stroller and sleeps usually for the rest of arronds. She just discoverd tv this week and requests Baby Einstein, then walks over to they toy bench, sits and waits. She still uses her pacifier which has helped with the huge teeth outbreak.
So thats our girl! We love her so much and have been having some great laughs with her the past few months!
