The end of April is here already! Its funny cause even though time is flying by, it still feels slow motion for me! Things are going well with the fam I guess, the girls light up my life and my love for Ben makes me sore!
Michelle - we're working on discipline. She has been potty training still, I'm staying consistent. We have a pretty firm time-out system that we use probably twice a day! Her big things are standing on the bed/couch, eating anywhere but the table, and not cleaning up. The last two things are new things. Before she didn't make too many messes, but now there are always toys all over her play room. The rule is that toys stay in the toy room which she does but now we need to work on putting a toy away before taking out another. And the food thing should've never started but it did, she would eat at her little table in her toy room, but i don't like all the crumbs in there or the living room, so now she's learning to have her snack at the "big black table" which has been fine since she feels like a big girl!
Scarlett - Learning and growing! She is so social! Everyone who comes to see her is greeted with giggles and smiles! And now she's using her hands a lot more so thats good, more on her next week after her 5 mth check up!
Ben and Rachel - We are definitely remodeling so much of our relationship. We have a good way of communicating now that helps so much! And we both make an effort to make little changes. We both help cook, which is great bonding for us. And Ben is helping with much more productive tasks when it comes to the girls which helps my stress go way down! P90X is still going strong. Its been interesting because I got into that accident a month ago and thought it was over! But I kept going and got better because of it. Then I got strep which had me out for two weeks! I did miss a couple days, but I tried every morning, and if I was too feverish with chills or nauseous, then I'd have to sit out. Ben is getting his wisdom teeth out in a couple weeks, those give him a lot of pain, but he pushes through, so that will be a couple days after surgery that he won't be able to work out. BUT thats life! It doesn't mean you've failed or that its over. I really felt like I needed to push myself, but my body got super mad over that! So I take it easy when I have to! Haven't missed any days this week, so I'm back 100%! I'll post pics at the end of this 30 days! I lost 2 more lbs even while sick, so thats good!
Thats all for now..peace!
