Major Update!

Scarlett turns 3 mths!!
Height - Same 21 inches
Weight - 10lbs 2oz

Dr says shes growing steady but maybe needs a little more. Her physical therapist is trying to help her hands open more. They are still in a ball like a fresh newborn, so we need to work on that. But she is very alert now during the day! Every time she sees Shelly she just lights up! Her laughter fills the room on a daily basis, her smiles are angelic! She is starting to notice toys floating above her, mobile, play mat, swing. She hits things with her hands, but not quite connecting with the idea that she can control it, if that makes sense. She just moved up to 5 1/2 - 6oz per feeding, she was at 5 for over a month. And as of a couple weeks ago, she has her last feeding at 9 and goes down for bed and sleeps till anywhere between 7-9 which is AWESOME! Michelle was the same way, and believe it or not it dosn't come natural its a learned thing. She sleeps mostly in her crib too which is good. She loves new faces and meeting new people, hardly ever cranky! Shell was also this way, so we love it! She had her baby blessing on the 21st! Her dad said some amazing things! We had it at my parents house, and it was packed with friends and family! She looked so amazing! Her dress was actually called Scarlett, and we added some red touches to it. (The ribbon was also called Scarlett) Ben, Michelle and I all wore a hint of red to keep the theme going. So far Red is definitely her signature color! LOL No worries, we're still gonna be drowning in pink.

Michelle
In two days will be 2 & 1/2!!!! I can't believe half a year has gone by since celebrating her 2nd birthday!! And in just half more she'll be 3! She is learning to speak more and more clear. We need to watch what we say or watch because she picks up on EVERYTHING!! Ex"Dang it, Duh, Forget it, I'm running away and I'm NEVER coming back!" Yeah these are just a few of her nasty terms. The sweet ones? "Mom? Dad? I love you!, Oh Scarlett is sooo cute!!, Says her prayers still, and sings throughout the day. She is very much into roll playing now, meaning plays chef, dolls, Dr, mommy, etc. She is aloud to watch 30min of TV in the morning, and one movie at night if that. It may still seem like soooo much TV to some, but she plays so well on her own and has learned so much, it works for us. She has recently learned a few more presidents and animals. And her favorite thing to do is make GUMBO! Its from the movie Princess and the Frog. Michelle likes it spicy too! She's my girl alright! Potty training is steady, she has gone a couple times on her own but still needs to learn to tell us BEFORE she goes in her "princess panties" aka pull up.

Ben and I
Are doing great! We started P90X together and are kicking butt!! (Its cool Shelly can't read yet! LOL) Tomorrow will be the end of week 2. We haven't skipped a beat and are feeling good! We get up at 5:45 work out for a hour, and then I make us breakfast while he gets ready for work. We completely changed the way we eat. We eat "Right" not like super crazy healthy, but we don't have any junk in the house. Michelle can have all the things we have, we just switch out a couple things, she has whole milk, we have skim etc. But now the whole family is following the pyramid. We go out once a month for some food we like (OMG! Fried Chicken!!! Those crazies!!) But we don't have sweets hardly ever and no sodas ever either. But really its been no struggle. We just cook really well and get creative! So far our muscles are getting firm, no dramatic weight dropped, but its coming!

Ben is doing great at work, its slower then the last position, but he enjoys the teaching aspect.

I am keeping my head up! I actually just received my patriarchal blessing on the 14th. I was supposed to get it before Ben and I got married, but didn't get around to it. I think it came at the perfect time. It makes me feel super confident as a mother, wife, and leader/example for all I care about. This week Ben and I are meeting with the stake president to interview for our temple recommends and then we're off to the temple! It will be nice to go back since its been a while. I was worried for...well myself for a while there. I was diagnosed with postpartum depression and clinical depression. However I feel I'm finally over trials I've had the past few months and am looking forward to the days, weeks, months, years ahead. I didn't tell anyone, because well its personal and I always feel when I talk about it, people will think I either want attention or will give me too much. So luckily I'm good!

Thank you for the love and support! I'll keep on posting!!
