Our Perfect Anniversary!

We got back about and hour ago from dinner...
It's now been a tradition to have Chinese food on our Anniversary, our wedding served Asian food which in our hotel we had some left over and since we didn't get a chance to really chow down at the reception, we heated up our food in our room's little kitchen and snuggled on the couch eating everything! It was so nice just relaxing just us two.



Well there have been 2 out of 3 anniversaries where I have been pregnant. The first year I was super sick so we couldn't go out to eat. We ordered some Chinese in but sadly I threw it all up after a couple bites...(and yet I still tried a bite of our topper for traditions sake BIG MISTAKE)



Our 2nd year we had Shelly so I just felt instead of going out I would rather just relax since she was such a great baby never fussy. So we ordered from our fav Chinese place and had them deliver! I lit candles and we just talked with Shell hanging out with her toys near by. It was a very good night.



So this year since I'm preggo again, I've very much been on guard, no throwing up yet but I've been close, but that wasn't going to stop me from going out (see more detail on my preggie journal blog). But I forced myself to look amazing full make-up job, dress and everything and we decided to go to BO since its our fav and its never crowded. It was perfect cause we where the only ones there at that time, so we ordered tons of food and just talked, talked, talked! Whats even more amazing - I ate soooo much and didn't feel sick for a second! I actually felt better!

It was such a good night! I love that Ben and I decided to make our anniversary's not about planning a bunch of fancy stuff, but seriously spending quiet time together (and of course including food) This way I don't have to stress about plans or the way we look - the wedding took care of that. Besides we have birthday's and mother's/father's day and valentines day too, so this is the only day thats just US! I love our life together!!!
